Karawatha Park

The easy way to get there is by car. Takes about 35 minute drive from the city, going alone the south east freeway turning south on the gateway motorway.

Great place to explore to get an insight on what Australian bushland and wetlands look like. Very peaceful and beautiful place. There is a lovely park area near the lagoon to enjoy a picnic or to sit and absorb nature.

is there a troll under that bridge?

Enjoying the view

Hmmm how much further...

for a map of the park go to this link;http://www.karawatha.com/Images/karawathaMap.pdf will come in handy when walking around the park. Karawatha Park consists of a very large area with many small 'off the beaten' tracks so be careful not to get lost.
